Victor Herbert Farrell Sr., 88, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
He was born February 18, 1932 in Vevay, IN, son of the late Paul Farrell and Martha (Williamson) Farrell.
Victor worked as a truck driver, retiring after over 30 years. He was a long time member of Holmes Hill Church of Christ.
Victor loved anything outdoors. He enjoyed, camping, boating, RVing, and fishing. His greatest joy was teaching the kids and grandkids how to fish. He had a large scale model car collection. In his later years, Victor enjoyed making crafts. He made crazy gifts and gave them to the family. He also loved dogs and cats. Faith and family and fishing were most important to him. He will be greatly missed .
Victor is survived by children, Vicki Ann (Gary) Mangold of Lawrenceburg, IN, Victor Herbert "Chip" (Sharon) Farrell Jr. of Lawrenceburg, IN, Teresa "Terri" Leigh (Don) Crutchleo of Cincinnati, OH, Daniel Robert (Martina) Farrell of Aurora, IN, Patrick Michael "Mike" Farrell of Saint Paul, IN, Eleanore Jane "Bitty" (Dan) Blair of Kingman, AZ, Mark Curry of Rising Sun, In; siblings, Verna Schwier, Verris Minniear, David L. Farrell, Paul V. Farrell, Diana M. Rice; 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by father, Paul Farrell, mother, Martha Jane Farrell, loving wife of 56 years, Mary Ann (Mann) Farrell, siblings, Vernon "Bud" L Farrell, Denny Lee Farrell, Venita J. Haas, Daughter, Mary "Beth" Elizabeth Haag, Grandsons, Gary Ricky Mangold, Jr., and Noah Curry.
Private family visitation will be, Thursday, May 21, 2020, from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home.
Graveside Services will be at Mt Sinai Cemetery, Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Evangelist Tommy Johnson officiating.
