August 15, 1960 ~ March 1, 2022 (age 61)

Mary Jane (Morris) Hayman, 61, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, has unexpectedly passed away today, Tuesday, March 1, 2022 and left us all with a huge hole in our hearts.

She was born August 15, 1960, daughter of Shirley (Andrews) Morris and the late William H. Morris.

She received advanced degrees from Ball State University and Mount St. Joseph College.  Mary Jane worked as a Senior Manager of Quality Control for Proximo Distillers.
She was a member of and actively involved with the First Presbyterian Church of Aurora, where she served as an Elder and Choir Director.  Mary Jane was currently a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church in Kentucky, where she also served as an Elder and was very active in the music program.  She was on the Board of Directors for the Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce, for many years.  She also was a member of Tri Kappa Sorority.

Mary Jane was such an incredibly kind and generous soul to all that knew her and she will be terribly missed by her family and friends who were intimately familiar with her infectious laughter, sense of humor and always going out of her way to do good for others in need.  Mary Jane loved the outdoors and enjoyed hiking throughout Montana, British Columbia, Canada, Colorado and Wyoming.  Mary Jane was fond of animals, especially her cats.  She was an incredibly social person and enjoyed time with her friends and family most of all.  She will be missed and will always be remembered, but never forgotten.

Mary is survived by her mother, Shirley A. Morris; brother, Michael (Anna) Morris of Cleves, OH; nephews, Micah E. (Madeline) Morris, Matthew W. Morris; niece, Meghan E. (Dan) Murray; great-neice, Maeve Murray.
