Glenda (Coldwell) Harrell, 73, of Moores Hill, Indiana, passed away Sunday November 8, 2020 at home, surrounded by her family.
She was born August 28, 1947 in Aurora, IN, daughter of the late Charles Coldwell and Dorothy (Shoemaker) Coldwell.
She worked in the cosmetic Department at Super X Drug Store for 16 years, then was a Lab Technician for Ellison Service Technology for 16 more years.
Glenda was a member of the Moores Hill American Legion Auxiliary. She loved to shop, especially on the Home Shopping Network. She enjoyed camping, traveling, the "Old Musicals"and her puppy dog Rascal. Glenda loved her family, especially spending time with the grandkids. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Glenda is survived by her loving spouse of 56 years James E. "Snorky" Harrell, daughter, Amy (Chip) Powell of Aurora, IN; Daughter-in-law, Erin Harrell of Rising Sun, IN; Sister, Sandy (Melvin) Higham of Rising Sun, IN; grandchildren, Zachary Harrell, Abby Harrell, Katie Johnson, Spencer Harrell, Corey Johnson; great grandchildren, Owen & Wyatt Schneider; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, Charles & Dorothy Coldwell; son Charles "Chuck" Harrell.
Friends will be received Wednesday, November 11, 2020, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. at the First Baptist Church , 6060 Blair Rd. Aurora, IN., 47001.
Services will be at 3:00 pm, at the church, immediately following visitation.
Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church or Moores Hill EMS. If unable to attend services, please call the funeral home office at (812) 926-1450 and we will notify the family of your donation with a card.
