Obituary

Gerald Arthur "Dusty" Legge Jr., 60 years old, of Dillsboro, Indiana, passed away on March 26, 2021.

He was born September 6, 1960 in Coshocton, OH, son of the late Gerald Arlene "Jerry" Legge and Shirley Jean (Amore) Legge.

Dusty worked as an Ironworker for the union for over three decades. He was a mountain man that loved living in the country, driving a tractor, and staying out of trouble. He enjoyed fishing, feeding the local wildlife, and good times with good friends. He spent much of his time working on old trucks, reading Louis L’Amore, and hanging out with his nephews. 

Dusty is survived by his daughter, Heather Rose (Richard Todd) Legge-Click of Athens, AL; son, Austin McDonald; brother, Eugene Arland "Rusty" (Robbin) Legge; sister, Jacqueline "Jackie" Legge (Darren Abrams) of Vevay, IN; half siblings, Adam (Beth) Legge, and Amber (David) Fehr of Lawrenceburg, IN; nieces and nephews, Jordan, Noah, Jeremy, Jessica, Rocky, Franklin, Elijah, Alayna, and Ava Legge, and Hannah, Morgan and Logan Fehr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother, Rocky Legge, and niece, Evelyn "Evy" Legge.

Friends will be received Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 9:30 - 10:30 am at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic St. Aurora, IN. 47001.

Services will be held at 10:30am immediately following visitation.

Internment will follow in the Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette, Ohio.

If unable to attend services, please call the funeral home office at (812) 926-1450 , and we will notify the family of your donation with a card.

Due to the current situation dealing with COVID-19, we are following the directives from Governor Holcomb and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention concerning large events and mass gatherings. The family deeply appreciates the support and love shown from friends, but the health and well being of everyone in our community is of top priority. We are asking everyone who will be in attendance to please remember the social distancing guidelines at all times, and the wearing of masks is highly recommended.
