Delores Ann "Lolo" Scranton, 87, of Dillsboro, Indiana, passed away Wednesday September 30, 2020 in Milan, Indiana.
She was born April 10, 1933 in Aurora, IN, daughter of the late John Baker and Edna (McLaughlin) Baker.
Delores worked as an Operator for United of Indiana telephone company, retiring after over 41 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Aurora.
Delores was an avid reader. She enjoyed crocheting and crafting. Delores, along with her sister, loved to make Raggedy Ann dolls. She enjoyed spending time with family.
Delores is survived by her nephews and nieces, Ricky (Janet) Beard, Patrick (Nancy) Schwartz, Joseph (Jessie) Peak, Jamie Peak, Shelby Beard, Rene (Rick) Wiegand, and Regina (Archie) Crouch; sister, Margaret F. Beard; brother-in-law, David Scranton; sister-in-law, Barbara Scranton; and 6 great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Scranton; siblings, Alberta Berry, and Ralph Baker, niece, Sharon Gordon, great-niece, Ryan Michelle Livingston.
Friends will be received Monday, October 5, 2020, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 pm with Pastor Bill Secrest officiating.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
