Betty June Ward McCardle, 79, of Patriot, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in Madison, Indiana.
She was born December 23, 1942, in Williamson, WV, daughter of the late Dale Sturgill and Marie (Stafford) Sturgill.
Betty worked for the plastic company, Celanese.
She loved flower gardening, sewing, cooking and watching the humming birds.
Betty is survived by her children, Mary (David) McCardle of Patriot, IN, Calvin (Paula) Ward of Patriot, Indiana and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Marie; husbands, Calvin L. Ward and Alva Lee "Bill" McCardle.
Graveside service to be held at the families convenience.
