Anthony H. "Tony" Wilson, 57, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away Tuesday November 24, 2020 in Edgewood, Kentucky.
He was born March 16, 1963 in Lawrenceburg, IN, son of the late William E. Wilson and Alma (Kipp) Wilson.
Tony worked in the maintenance department for Giles Chemicals. He also worked at Seagram's Distillery for 23 years. Tony worked and was a co-owner of the family business, Wilson Motors Wholesale, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, from the age of 16, until it was sold in 2018.
Tony enjoyed boating and guy time, playing video games with the boys. He loved to travel, relaxing and spending time with family. He also enjoyed grilling and cooking. Tony loved all things mechanical, working on cars or just tinkering with them. He loved to help people, he would always stop to help if someone was broken down along the road. Tony was a simple man. He was a giver, who continued giving even in death. Being a donor, Tony was able to help between 60 and 80 people. He always had a smile on his face and looked for the positive in every situation. Tony will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Tony is survived by his loving spouse of 37 years Amy Wilson (Schmarr), sons, Michael Wilson of Lawrenceburg, IN, Matthew Wilson of West Carrollton, OH; siblings, Gary Wilson (Stephanie Warnock) of Ocala, FL, Kristine "Kris" (David) Colley of Lawrenceburg, IN, Greg Wilson of KY, Richard "Buddy" (Linda) Wilson of Lawrenceburg, IN, Jeff (Missi) Wilson of Lawrenceburg, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received Tuesday, December 1, 2020, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Trinity Christian Center, 18687 Pribble Road, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held immediately following visitation at 2:00 pm with Pastor Patrick Nimon officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
