Amanda (Milleson) Morris

Amanda Michelle (Milleson) Morris of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away March 13, 2023 at home.  Amanda was born May 3, 1980, in Salina, Kansas, daughter of Glen Milleson and Laura Ferguson.  Amanda was the loving wife of Hobart Morris for 6 months and in her words “mama bear” to her children that were her world. Her greatest joy was snuggling her grandbabies and hearing their laughter. Amanda chose nursing as a profession but it was more of a mission than a job. She lovingly cared for her patients, especially while serving those on hospice. We will miss her beautiful smile and her big, giving heart. She was a member of Holton Christian Church.

Amanda is survived by her spouse, Hobart Morris; parents Glen (Teresa) Milleson, Laura Trumble, Russell (Leslie) Trumble, and in-laws Debbi (Larry) Smith: two grandmothers, Linda Ferguson, and Joan Neill; children, Cody (Regan) Copple, Tessa (Jordan) Copple, Lane Copple, Ethan (Sierra) Copple, Erika (Chris) Jack, Todd Pinkerton, Kierston (Tyler) Richardson, and Quentin (Sierra) Morris; grandchildren, Wyatt, Avery, Rogan, Savannah, Nevaeh and Layton; nine siblings, Duane Morgan Jr. (Sarah), John Milleson, Rick Milleson, Trevor (Elizabeth) Milleson, Debra (Travis) Yeager, Edith (Cecil) Miller, Desiree Vaga Cerritos, Barbara Milleson, Sara Milleson, Gage Milleson and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by grandchild, Maverick Copple; sibling, Christopher Milleson; and grandfathers, Benjamin Ferguson, and Delmar Neill.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday March 15, 2023 at Holton Christian Church in Holton, Indiana at 5:00pm.
