Obituary

Natalie A. Harves, 92, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Monday December 9, 2019 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Natalie was employed by Southern Indiana Telephone Company, The DeCourcy Clinic in Cincinnati, First National Bank of Aurora and The Peoples Federal Savings Bank (formerly Peoples Bldg & Loan Co., Aurora).  She retired from PFSB in 1992 after serving 34 years as Treasurer, Assistant Secretary and Office Manager.

She was a member and supporter of the First Presbyterian Church of Aurora since childhood,  and she served as a deacon several years ago.  Natalie was a 1945 Aurora High School graduate and a founding member of the South Dearborn Dollars for Scholars.  She was also a member of Phi Beta Psi, the Hillforest Foundation, the Kindervelt #44 (Cincinnati Children's Hospital Auxiliary), and the Fine Arts Foundation.  Natalie and her husband of almost 65 years belonged to the Dearborn County Antique Farm Club.

She was a big Nascar fan, and loved following sports, especially High School Basketball.  She enjoyed cooking and baking and was known for her mean dish of cherry pie and BBQ pork steaks.  Natalie was an animal lover, and she especially loved her German Shepherds.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles and vacations, but time with her family and friends was her greatest joy.
