He was born September 22, 1961 in Frankfort, Germany, son of Franklin C. Cantwell and the late Christina "Teany" (Sellers) Cantwell.
During his high school years, Greg and his dad Frank owned and operated Schwanholt Service Station and Wrecker Service for several years. He then worked for Fernald Uranium Plant for 23 years. He had a tremendous love of all types of music and did sound engineering for his daughter’s band as well as others, including recording demos for them. He enjoyed watching wildlife, visiting US National Parks and playing with the family dog, Ollie.
