William H. "Bill" Shuter, 84, of Aurora, IN, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in Aurora, IN.

He was born Sunday, January 11, 1925, Son of the late Mr. &Mrs. Harry Shuter.
 
He attended Mt. Sinai School, Mr Shuter was a member of Lawrenceburg Baptist Church, but attended Sparta Baptist Church since 1991.  He farmed all his life, was a School bus driver for 32 yrs with the South Dearborn School District , a Co-op Board member for 4 yrs, County Commissioner for 4 yrs, member of Mt. Sinai Cemetery Board since 1948, Hogan Township Advisory Board & member of Hogan Fire Department since 1985 (24 of last last 32 yrs).

Surviving are Daughter-in-Law, Marcella (Earl) Shuter of Aurora, IN;  Step-Daughters, Phyllis (Larry) Powell of Aurora, IN, Carolyn Morehead of Dillsboro, IN, Charlotte Daugherty of Greendale, IN;  Grandchildren  Earl Shuter, Malon Shuter & Tammy Widrig;  4 Step-Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Marrietta Cotton Shuter & Garnett Morehead Shuter, Son: Earl Wayne Shuter & Several Brothers & Sisters.
 

Services

Friends will be received 4:00 - 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Monday, at 11:00 am with Pastor Rick Burcham officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
