Walter William "Walt" Schuck, 83, of Boiling Springs, SC, formerly of Aurora, IN died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 in Boiling Springs, SC.

He was born Friday, July 3, 1925 in Aurora, IN, Son of the late Frank Schuck and the late Cecelia Mock Schuck Fuestal.

He served his Country as a WWII Army Veteran.  He was wounded spending over a year in the hospital.  He was a Purple Heart Recipient, as well as, the Bronze Star.

He worked as a self-employed Auto Mechanic.

Surviving are Daughters, Debra (Husband, Dan) Thompson of MA, Linda Lefler of SC, Rosalia Walker of FL; Son, Jerry Schuck of FL; Brothers, Frank Schuck, Arthur Schuck, Donald Schuck, all of Aurora, IN; Earl Schuck of Rising Sun, IN, Nathaniel Schuck of FL; Sister, Kathryn Wright of Dillsboro, IN; Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren and many Nieces & Nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Stewart Schuck.
 

Services

Friends will be received 11:00 am -1:00 pm on Saturday at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home following visitation at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, IN . Color Guard Services will be conducted by the Korean War Veterans and the American Veterans.
