Melvin L. Barrett, 67, of Aurora, IN, died Friday, July 24, 2009 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

He was born Tuesday, July 14, 1942 in Dearborn County, Indiana, Son of the late Shelby Barrett and the late Laura Sellers Barrett

He worked in the Receiving Department for Seagram's Distillery, retiring after over 40 years of service.

Surviving are his Brother, Maynard & Jackie Barrett of Aurora, IN;  Nephews, Jeff Barrett of Aurora, IN and Douglas Barrett of Dillsboro, IN.

Services

Friends will be received 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday, July 27, 2009 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Graveside Service will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Tuesday,  at 11:00 am with Jim Burkhart officiating.

Contributions may be made to the United Way of Dearborn & Ohio Counties.  Please call the office at (812) 926-1450 and we will notify the family of your donation with a card
