Mary Rose Vankirk, 82, of Greensburg, IN, formerly of Aurora, IN, died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 in Greensburg, IN.

She was born Sunday, April 11, 1926 in Aurora, Indiana, Daughter of the late Claude York and the late Bertha Jackson York.
 
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Greensburg, IN, Eastern Star & Decatur County Senior Citizens. She loved to collect dolls, play Bingo, work crossword puzzels and growing tomatoes 

She worked as a Lineworker for Seagram's Distillery, retiring after over 40 years of service. 

Surviving are her Husband, Harold Vankirk of Greensburg, IN; Son, Dayral Hall of Aurora, IN; Step Daughter Monica Ogden of Osgood, IN, Grandchildren, Jason (Gina) Hall, Tracy Russell & Jeremy Ogden; Great Grandchildren, Darian & Bryer Hall, Caterina, Brady & Connor Russell,
 

Services

Friends will be received 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Rullman Hunger Denney Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home following the visitation at 2:00 pm with Rev. Lee Riggs officiating.

Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
