Margaret Emily Pitts, 95, of  Aurora, IN, died Friday, August 28, 2009 in Dillsboro, IN.

She was born Friday, January 16, 1914 in Norwood, OH, Daughter of the late Joseph Small and the late Kate Radspinner Small.

Mrs. Pitts was a Practical Nurse at Dearborn County Hospital retiring after over 25 years of service.  She was a lifelong member of Aurora First United Methodist Church, a member of Phi Beta Psi Sorority for over 50 years and was a volunteer at Hillforest since its conception. Mrs. Pitts was an avid bridge player and an accomplished seamstress.

Surviving are Sons, Jerry W. (Patty) Kent of Aurora, IN, Robert L. (Kathy) Kent of Simpsonville, SC; Grandchildren, Sherri Kent, Tim (Chris) Kent, Brandon, Bradley & Brett Kent.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Pitts.
 

Services

Friends will be received 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM, Monday, August 31, 2009 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home following visitation at 2:00 pm with Rev. Janet Jacobs officiating.

Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
