Johnnie Lee Smith, 71,  of Aurora, IN, died Friday, April 11, 2008 in Aurora, IN .

He was born Saturday, February 20, 1937 in Rising Sun, IN, Son of the late John Smith and the late Bessie Kinnett Smith.

He served his Country as an Army  Veteran.

He was a member of the Aurora VFW, Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge.  He was a former member of Laughery Valley 4-Wheel Drive Assoc.  He formerly worked  for the Dearborn County Highway Department for over 20 over years.

Surviving are Sons, Terry Smith of Aurora, IN, Johnnie Ray Smith of Aurora, IN, Johnnie Lee"JR." Smith of Aurora, IN; Daughter, Patty  Lawson of Aurora, IN;  Brothers, David Moorehead of Aurora, IN, Jimmy Moorehead of Aurora, IN; Sister, Sue Sizemore of Aurora, IN; 8 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren.
 

Services

Friends will be received 12:00 - 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the Rullman Hunger Denney Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Tuesday,  at 2:00 pm following visitation.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery, .  Color Guard Services will be conducted by the Korean War Veterans and the American Veterans.
