John Phillip Probst Jr., 84, of Aurora, IN died Monday, August 11, 2008 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

He was born Monday, January 28, 1924 in Dearborn County, IN, Son of the late John Phillip Probst and the late Anna Mary Hornig Probst.
 
He served his Country as a WWII Navy Veteran.
 
He was a Life Member of St. John Luthern Church, Aurora, IN,  a member of VFW Post 5312 Aurora & D.A.V.

He owned and operated Probst Brothers Sales & Service for 43 years.

Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Jean Probst of Aurora, IN; Sons, John L. Probst of Aurora, IN, Phillip L. Probst of Aurora, IN, Eldon G. Probst of Moores Hill, IN; Daughter, Kimberly Roberts of Aurora, IN;  9 Grandchildren & 7 Great-Grandchildren.
 

Services

Friends will be received 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the Rullman Hunger Denney Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church Aurora, Friday, August 15, 2008 at 10:30 am with Pastor Edward A. Davis officiating.

Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, IN .  Color Guard Services will be conducted by the Korean War Veterans and the American Veterans.
