James  Leland "Sog"  Teaney, 88,  of Aurora, IN, died Wednesday, September 17, 2008 in Milan, IN.

He was born Tuesday, March 23, 1920 in Phoenix, Arizona, Son of the late Emil Teaney and the late Esther Holmes Teaney.

He served his Country as a Navy Veteran.  He was a member of First Baptist Church of Aurora, Aurora VFW and American Legion. He worked as a Part Owner & Meat Manager  for Teaney's Grocery for most of his life.

Surviving are Wife, Mildred Teaney of Aurora, IN;  Daughters, Diane Teaney of Midlothian, VA, Janice  Teaney of Aurora, IN.
 

Services

Friends will be received 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the Rullman Hunger Denney Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Monday, at 11;00 am.

Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
