James L. Miller, 81, of Aurora, IN, died Monday, July 28, 2008 in Cincinnati, OH.

He was born Monday, November 29, 1926 in Aurora, IN, Son of the late Francis Miller and the late Juanita Onstot Miller.

He served his Country as a WWII Navy  Veteran.
 
He graduated from Aurora High School in 1944 and then went into the Navy.  He was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, a long time member of the Aurora American Legion and a  member  of  the Seagrams Retiree Club.  He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing & especially being a Grandpa.  He worked as a Warehouse Supervisor for Seagram's Distillery, retiring after over 30 years of service and was a  Farmer.

Surviving are Son, Jerry (Jana) Miller of West Chester, OH; Daughter, Jana (Mike) Simms of Ft. Mitchell, KY; Grandchildren, Susan Miller, Sharon Miller & Justin Simms.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Devota Miller in 2002.
 


Services

Friends will be received 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the Rullman Hunger Denney Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Friday,  at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, IN.  Color Guard Services will be conducted by the Korean War Veterans and the American Veterans.
