Harry W. Dickerson, 82, of Dillsboro, IN, formerly of Aurora, IN, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in Dillsboro, IN.

He was born Friday, February 11, 1927 in Dearborn County, Indiana, Son of the late Clarence Everett Dickerson and the late Naomi Cora Jasper Dickerson.

He served his Country as a WWII Army Veteran.

He was a member of the Dillsboro American Legion & former member of the Eagles.

He worked as a Crane Operator for Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company, retiring after 40 years of service.

Surviving are Step-Daughter, Judith Ann McDonald of Batesville, IN; Brothers, Jack (Bea) Dickerson of Greendale, IN, Estal (Wilma) Dickerson of Greendale, IN, Jim (Betty) Dickerson of Lawrenceburg, IN & Jerry Dickerson of Rising Sun, IN; Friend, Leslie Holbert.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Mary Dickerson and Brother, Clarence Dickerson.

Services

Friends will be received 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, January 29, 2010 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 11:00 am with Pastor Tommy Fehrman officiating.

 

Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Manchester, IN. Military graveside services will be conducted by members of local Veterans Service Organizations.
