George F.  Moreland, 88,  of Dillsboro, IN, formerly of Aurora, Indiana, died Sunday, March 2, 2008 in Dillsboro, IN.

He was born Tuesday, May 27, 1919 in Cleves, Ohio, Son of the late Anderson Moreland and the late Hilda Neihardt Moreland.

He served his Country as a WWII Army  Veteran. 
He was a member of the Mt Sinai United Methodist Church, Aurora Masonic Lodge and American Legion.

He worked as a Ret. Electrical Mainenance  for Cincinnati Gas & Electric, retiring after over 36 years of service.

Surviving are his Son William "Bill" . A. Moreland of Cincinnati, OH, Grandson, Scott William Moreland, Great Grandchildren, Baron Hunsche and Rylee Farmer. He was married 58 years to the late Belle L. Murphy Moreland.
 

Services

Graveside Services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 11:00 Am with Rev. Ed Scherer-berry officiating.

Interment will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, OH.
