Delores J. "Jitterbug" Emery, 70, of Lawrenceburg, IN, formerly of Aurora, IN, died Thursday, November 26, 2009 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

She was born Thursday, May 25, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Daughter of the late Frank Bauer and the late Margaret Jane Willoughby Bauer.

She worked as a Housekeeper for Dearborn County Hospital. She formerly worked at Campbell-Hausfeld and General Electric. Her hobbies included Bingo, Rummy and Euchre. She loved to play Bingo and frequently played at the Aurora Eagles and the VFW. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are Sons, Douglas Emery of Lawrenceburg, IN, Scott (Barbara) Emery of Greensburg, IN, Kelly (Brenda) Emery of Harrison, OH, Tracy (Arlena) Emery of Aurora, IN; Daughter, Lisa (Randy) Turner of Aurora, IN; Brother, Frank Bauer Jr. of Lawrenceburg, IN; Sister, Shirley Smith of Aurora, IN; 14 Grandchildren & 5 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Sister: Mary House.

Services

Friends will be received 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday, November 30, 2009 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church Aurora, Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at 11:00 am with Pastor Richard Wilkie officiating.

Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
