David Eugene Lockwood, 60, of Rising Sun, IN, formerly of Aurora, IN died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 in Rising Sun, IN.

He was born Sunday, December 12, 1948 in Milan, Indiana, Son of the late Earl Eugene Lockwood and Helen Joyce Hensley Lockwood.
 
He was a member of the National Rifle Association.  He loved watching drag racing, enjoyed music and riding his motor cycle.  He also enjoyed gardening and loved his dogs.  He was an outdoor person and really liked working on cars.

He was self-employed and did auto body work.

Surviving are Mother, Helen Lockwood of Aurora, IN; Sister, Joyce Kittle of Aurora, IN; Niece, Carrie Kittle of Indianapolis, IN; Nephew, Carl Kittle of Murfreesboro, TN, several cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services

Friends will be received 5:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at the Church, Thursday at 11:00 am, with Pastor Dennis Alstott officiating.

Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
