Dallas C. York, 71, of Bear Branch, IN, died Sunday, September 20, 2009 in Cincinnati, OH.

He was born Tuesday, April 12, 1938 in Boone County, KY, Son of the late Frank York and the late Dora Delph York
 
He was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Bear Branch, IN. He worked as a Production Operator for Joseph E. Seagrams Distillery, retiring after over 40 years of service.  Dallas started the Blue Grass Band Rural Route #2.  He loved his family and friends, his  bluegrass music, his farm and John Deer Tractors.  He will be missed by all.

Surviving are his Wife, Betty York of Bear Branch, IN;   Sons, Steve (Teresa) York of Bear Branch, IN, Barry (Terri) York of Bear Branch, IN, Mark (Amy) York of Manchester, IN;  Brothers, Jack York of Vevay, IN, Ron York of Rising Sun, IN; Grandchildren, Jodi Wilder, Julie, Brandon, Dustin, Jason & Cody York, Step Grandson, Alex Wilder; Great-Grandchildren, Isabella & Caylee York and his beloved dog,Weiner.

He was preceded in death by Stillborn Son: Todd Eric York.

Services

Friends will be received from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday at St Peters Lutheran Church, Bear Branch, IN, with Pastor Pamela Thiede officiating.

Interment will follow in the St. Peters Cemetery, Bear Branch, IN.

Contributions may be made to the St. Peters Lutheran Church.  Please call the office at (812) 926-1450 and we will notify the family of your donation with a card.
