Chester M. Pratt, 79, of Aurora, IN, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

He was born Friday, February 8, 1929 in Versailles, Indiana, Son of the late Charles Pratt and the late Elizabeth Hehe Pratt.
 

He served his Country as a Korean War Army Veteran.  Mr. Pratt preached at the Salem Road Church of Christ for several years.  He was a mechanic, logger, and also a Race Car Driver for many years.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He will be missed by all.

Surviving are  his wife, Audrey McIntosh Pratt of Aurora, IN;  Sons, Steve (Linda) Pratt of Aurora, IN, Mike (Amy Bovard) Pratt of Tampa , Fl; Daughter, Donna (Steve) Gabbard of Aurora, IN;  Brothers, Roger Pratt of Switzerland County, IN, Ray Pratt of Louisville, KY; Sisters, Tressie, Verna, Jackie, Carol, Gail,  Rhonda, Charlene, Joan, June, Norma,  Shirley & Rose.  Grandchildren, Travis, Derrick & Shawn Gabbard & Jacob Pratt, Step-Grandson Jeff Mullen. 
He was preceded in death by his Brother, Jimmy Pratt.
